(5) Leaves can twirl

Air now chilled

we pull the coats

The leave curled up

and life dried out

the faint wisps of rain

Corn felids

once green and smooth

now crisp, yellow and drying in the breeze

No longer will

the rain leave

a wet smug of humid

instead will a cooler chill rest

around the houses and in through the walls

a gray afternoon

yet my excitement bubbles up

for the Autumn wind has sliced through

the hot days, and dry nights.

So when the wind howls

and the rain pounds harder on my roof

A smile will be spread across my face

The leaves can twirl, delighting the night.
