About Me

“I have died, but Christ lives in me. And I now live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me”.~ Galatians 2:20

I love to write. I think there is something very powerful and yet graceful the structure and differences of each poem. I do not normally rhyme poems, I wish I could, but I just not as equipped to write this way. I decided to give the title of my blog, “Life is a Poem~ a gift given to God,” because I truly believe that this talent I have is not of my own. But a precious gift that God has given to me. I am very blessed by all God has given to me. I have a wonderful family, and some very close friends, that it really doesn’t matter that they aren’t related.

The majority of my poems do have God in them, because I think it is a good way to use my talent and showcase what God has done for you, yes you. I pray that if you go through my poems you will have more of an understanding who God is. I am no scholar so if you have read something you can totally reply. I may not have all the answers but I would love a discussion.

I leave you with two bible passages. One that is very dear to my heart and my spiritual journey.

Psalm 23, it is a longer one, but bare with me because it shows who my Savior is.

1-3 God, my shepherd!
    I don’t need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
you find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to your word,
you let me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction.

Even when the way goes through
    Death Valley,
I’m not afraid
when you walk at my side.
Your trusty shepherd’s crook
    makes me feel secure.

You serve me a six-course dinner
right in front of my enemies.
You revive my drooping head;
    my cup brims with blessing.

Your beauty and love chase after me
    every day of my life.
I’m back home in the house of God
for the rest of my life.” ~ Psalm 23:1-6

I do hope you have read all this because you don’t want to miss out on a relationship with God. The second bible passage is John 3:16.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” ~ John 3:16

God Bless you all 🙂
